Hey,
Any Subaru guys on here that could point me to a good EJ25 engine manual (repair/rebuild)?
I'd like to learn more about these engines and, in case, I get the itch to do a bottom-up build, I'd like to know what's involved.

The official site is http://techinfo.subaru.com/index.html. You can buy a 3-day subscription for $35 and download the manual. BUT...they don't make this easy, you have to download like a million individual pdf's. Very annoying but that's what I did.
If you google wrx service manual or something similar, you can find pdf's available.
The hard copy manual at subaruparts.com is over $300, but you can buy the individual sections. The engine and transmission sections would prob be $100 or so.

Here is the complete STI manual. HTH

This should be the same as the WRX manual right? only thing different is the transmission and different internals for the engine? same size just stronger internal im guessing?
No, the STi engine is the 2.5L, and also had drive-by-wire throttle and AVCS (variable cam phasing). The transmission, differentials, axles, hubs, brakes, wheels are all different. Bigger turbo and intercooler, of course.
He's got other manuals too: http://ken-gilbert.com/impreza-manuals
