    probaby much more spartan to keep the weight down, but maybe with that longer nose there may be enough space for a couple of overnight bags

    We can be quite confident it will repurpose many of the components from the donor car. Since the 818 can be either LHD or RHD, the dash must allow for this.

    Perhaps. But think of this... What if the dash overlay was a piece of SS laser cut sheetmetal?
    If it could be designed to be symmetrical... then its a matter of flipping it around.
