    Hpde

My "bucket list" item for 2011 is to get my coupe on the racetrack. I've just signed up for the HPDE-1 at Road Atlanta on June 18,19. Sure would like to see some more of our Southeast guys/gals sign up as well.

    Garry,
Off-roading at Atlanta is great fun. Wish Victoria and I could be there with the Yellow One but have tentative plans to be in Utah. You may see another familiar coupe that weekend. Post some of yours and Jen's pics to prove it happened.

June? You've booked all the way into June? I think I registered for March just a couple of weeks ago.

    Bob,

Yeah, I booked for the June event. Don't think I would have the coupe ready for the March event.

    John,

Glad to see you on the new website ... been kind of wondering when you would show up.

Yes, I've heard that you get a reduced rate at Road Atlanta if you help "mow the lawn" with your Cobra!

Have fun in Utah! I know that another coupe will be there ... looking forward to seeing Karen & Andy. Mark Dougherty will be there, also.

I'll be doing the Deep South Cobra Club event in Tallahassee on April 8th & 9th.

    "HI" to Victoria!

I would if I could but with the single roll bar they frown on that. I'll be there for support and pics.

Just a reminder for the weekend NASA races and HPDE at Road Atlanta this weekend. I'll be running the coupe in HPDE-1. Dona and I plan on arriving Thursday afternoon for registration and tech inspection. We're bringing the motorhome and will park up on the hill under some trees, near vendor alley ... we've parked there several times before and it's pretty easy to find us there. We plan on spending the entire weekend there.

    Track time for HPDE-1 on Saturday are: 9:20-9:40am, 1:00-1:20pm, 2:30-2:50pm, 4:20-4:40pm
    Sunday times are: 10:05-10:25am, 1:25-1:45pm, 4:00-4:20pm

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.
