I used the Ford Racing PS bracket and 05-09 Mustang GT power steering pump. It just barely clears the 4" main chassis tube.

Less expensive? Last time I talked to Mike it was substantially more expensive.

    Thx Clemson

Do you have a part number for the PS pump and what rack are you running?

Also - what are the specs for the drive belt - part #?

I used 3/8" aluminum plate spaces on the engine mounts to raise the engine (and oil pan) so clearance is increased more than 1/2 inch

I'm running the breeze spacers too, so your clearance wont be any better. The Pump is just a 2005-2009 Mustang GT pump. Available on any Mustang forum or parts store. I need to measure for a belt still. I'm running a 1995 Mustang GT rack. Talking to Ford Racing, I should be fine with that rack, or any other Modular or Fox rack.

I understand the PS pump and Rack need to be set up properly to accomodate for the difference in wight vs a stock mustang i.e. the Mk4 is much less weight and an over-powered PS setup may be twitchy?

I have an AGR rack but need to source the proper pump.

    Thoughts?

A lot of people mod the older pumps to reduce pressure. Some people don't mind the quick response if they autocross. I'm going to see what happens before I make changes. Worst case is I add a Heidts valve to adjust pressure.

    Hi Guys,
The pump bracket I make fits the later production Coyote engine that are available now from Ford. It features a spring style belt tensioner to keep the belts proper tension. This is not like the pump bracket setup Ford makes.
The Ford Racing bracket pictured by clemson above uses a hinge style mount with a bolt to lever the pump away from the block to tension the belt.
Two different setups and I like the one I make (wonder why?). No climbing under the car to tighten or replace a belt.... Keeps belt properly tensioned throughout the rpm scale.

    Mike

What PS pump can be used with your bracket/tensioner (year etc) and what side is the pump set-up (Passenger or Drivers side) - can you provide costs and what is included (boltd, belt, bracket, tensioner etc)

    Thx
