Fuel Line
For all of you that are ahead of me...are the FFR supplied Fuel Lines (feed and return) of sufficient size for the Coyote assuming that an external 255lph pump is used? Or should we step up a size?
Before I start routing my lines, I want to make sure that I don't need a larger diamter. I've heard from some places that around 450hp is the line where you need to move to 3/8" or 1/2". Seems like the coyote would be relatively close to the edge.
Thanks guys!

I am also curious about this... I ran the FFR supplied lines, but I am thinking to change up to a 3/8" feed and 5/16" return. I think the 2012 mustang is using a 3/8" line in a returnless system (waiting for confirmation though). At least one person (forgot who) on the forum ran the FFR supplied lines w/o a problem.

The FFR (unless they changed it) are 5/16" supply and 1/4" return.
I stepped up to 3/8" for two reasons:
1 - 3/8" lines are much easier to find fittings to switch to AN for braided, regulator, and filter connections.
2 - I was able to custom bend the length and turns where I wanted without worrying about connection points.

Yep, I meant 5/16" instead of 3/8"

The Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator recommends 3/8" return lines. It doesn't say what size supply lines though. I would assume the same or larger would be sufficient.

The fuel pump hanger I have is only 1/4" on the return line I think. (3/8" supply though). So not sure if running something larger the rest of the way will really make a huge difference.

There is no problem with the kit supplied lines. I have 2000+ miles on my coyote and have no fuel delivery problems.

Thanks! I was hoping someone with some driving time with the Coyote would chime in that had used the supplied lines. I don't want to spend extra when what I have will work fine.
Thanks everyone.

Nah, I just got to pick and choose my battles. Otherwise,I would be using the 302 standby. Haha. With big brakes and wheels on the way, the boss might be looking to slow down my purchases.
