Oil Pressure Sensor Valley Cover Boss Removal

I recently purchased an LS376 "Special" 525hp for a customer's GTM. It requires that the boss for the oil pressure sender be "removed" so that you can flip the intake 180 degrees and have clearance for the bottom of the intake manifold. I would like to offer my services if you have a similar valley cover that you need this done to. Price to cut the boss down and plug the hole would be $40 plus shipping. You can email me thru my website if you are interested in having this service performed on your valley cover.

There is still some minor "trimming" that will need to be done to the bottom of your intake manifold to clear part of the boss, one valley-cover bolt-head, and the vent port at the front of the valley cover. Thanks!

I would point out that this is the case with ALL LS3s that I have seen.

    Hopefully, you still do this???

Where would we relocate the oil pressure sender to?

Yes, we do still do this. Just did one a couple weeks ago for a customer. We normally relocate the Autometer sender to the location FFR suggests in the manual. We do not use the FFR provided steel cover for that....we normally drill and tap the cast alum part with 1/8" NPT threads to fit the Autometer sender and use whatever combination of 45 or 90 degree adapters to get the sender tucked up tight to the block and away from the exhaust.

The GM oil pressure sensor is eliminated...not used or installed anywhere.
