600 hp and 4.10 gears will turn a 6 speed into a 4 speed while on street tires. It will spin them until 100 mph in 4th gear, but after 100 mph it will go like stink in 4th. I have 400 hp and 3.55 gears and have to pedal it all the way to 70 in 2nd, but it hooks pretty well in 3rd above 70 mph. Now on race slicks it hooks well right off the line but 1st gear is done in about 50' with a good launch.

Now on drag slicks it will hook well, but with 4.10 gears you will likely need to get all the way to 5th gear in the 1/4. With all that shifting your 1/4 mile times won't be so great.

Here is a good example of how quickly you run out of 1st gear with 3.55's and a bad launch due to gravel in the starting box. It hits the limiter in about 3-4 car lengths. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjxmv...2&feature=plcp

Another video with a good launch from inside: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHtx7...5&feature=plcp
