    Eddi from Trick Flow

Hello all this is Eddi over at Trick Flow, I just wanted to take a minute
and introduce myself. If you have any question please post on the site or
give me a call and I will help any way I can. The top end kit for the
Challenge cars is coming along very nicely and the updated castings should
be in our shop in about 3 weeks and machined and shipping in about 4 weeks.
If you haven't had the opportunity as of yet, you will be thrilled when you
see the updated heads. We have designed the tooling for a tighter tolerance
on the casting, thus allowing us to add a little more aluminum and
strengthen the exhaust side of the heads. We also have CNC'd the chamber for
a more even burn in the cylinder with added performance and made some slight
enhancements to the port design. All of this together will give you a
stronger and better performing head than was originally tested.

Unfortunately, there has been a slight delay which was caused by some
inconsistencies in the new casting. When we receive a new casting, we do a
thorough inspection so we can ensure a quality product. The issue has been
resolved and we are just waiting for the new castings to arrive. If you need
any other parts from the kit, camshafts or anything to help with the short
block assembly, let me know and I can get them to you.

We are very excited to be part of this racing series and I can't wait to
work with each and every one of you.

    Thanks

    Eddi

Thanks also for the update, I had emailed you my licence and pics and 2011 race results but did not hear back from you, so I assume all is OK. Looking forward to the upgrade package and that extra HP.

Also can you tell us if there is any difference between these 2 cams as when I look at them they look identical TFS-51403001 and TFS-51402000 but only the first is listed as approved for the series.

Hello, yes all is good. Now to answer your question on the camshafts. Spec is the same on both the cams but the part number in your race kit is the updated bullet cam. Durability wise a much stronger cam. Hope this helps, anything else just let me know.
