    From MO

Hey all! Just a note to introduce myself. Recently moved back to Missouri and can't wait to get the Roadster out on some of these Ozark highways.

Anybody else out here in southern MO?

WS is south central, near the border. Not much down here as far as cities to name, but if you head straight south from Rolla, you'll find it.

Did you have any troubles with titling your car? I need to get it switched from Iowa to Missouri, so I'm hoping it won't be a big deal to do the transfer.

    Adam,
We live in Southeast Mo, Poplar Bluff area, and travel to Branson 2 or 3 times a year. They have a car show and midnight cuise in August at the Sheperd of the Hills. We usually attend and trailer over on Wednesday.

Leo is right, look up the Gateway Cobra Club. They did a Northern Arkansas cuise last year and they are great guys. I wish I lived closer so I could attend more of their events.

In Missouri you can title as what it looks like. Mine is 65 Ford Roadster and is branded Replica.

Rob and Adam - we will be doing a 'Supercruise' in NW Arkansas October 25th & 26th cruising the Pig Trail, Push Mountain road and others in the area. Let me know if you are interested and I'll keep you in the loop.

    rjh2pd,
I'm in St. Louis @ 55 & 270. PM me and I'll send you my phone # and you can come over and take a look at my build.

going thru the titling process right now.

went to Troop-C last Wednesday 3/6 (DEFINITELY talk to Inspector Green! He's great!). u have to buy the 551 ($25) form and he'll fill it out.
on Friday 3/8, I drove to Jeff City. Take the completed 551 form, MSO and Bill-of-Sale for the FFR frame, Notorized Bill-of-Sale and copy of title(s) for Motor and Transmission, and your check book. You pay the Sales Tax for those items and they give you the VIN #.
Then you wait for Troop-C to call you (4 - 6 weeks).
Then you take your car there (they say "trailered") and they rivet the VIN plate on.
Then you have it Safety inspected and buy insurance.
Then you take ALL of that to the DMV for your plates!

simple (well, kinda, it's just a PITA)

check out Gateway Cobra Club. Great group of guys and very helpful.
