My mentor's car -- almost done

If you can have a hot rod mentor then Don is mine.

His latest car was about to go in a direction I didn't like but it turned out awesome.

He changed to a classic look, chrome reverse with white walls. It looked ok but not my favorite. It did have a problem with the backspacing and they rubbed.

That's brings us to the solution. Put the new tires on the wheels he had on the car. Awesome look now.

Wheels are such a hard decision for a hot rod. I gave up and will just have two sets. Haha

Geoff, tell your friend Don that his car looks fantastic! Love the w/w's with the Salt Flats. Have those Chrome Reverse wheels powder coated red to go with the engine scheme and that would also look "Killer" for another option. Love the Ford in a Ford!

I'll try to get some action shots this weekend? We have an event and the weather should be good. The weather is NOT good right now. I just picked my son up from school because of tornado warnings.

I agree and I hope he brings it out tomorrow. We have conflicting events and would like to attend all 3 things but the times don't work. I think we will make it to a local charity car show and then stop by a Mustang gathering at the only Ford dealership we have in town. Weather is forecast to be awesome.
