    Engine Compartment Beautification

My engine compartment beautification project is finally complete! I love the convenience, reliability, and power of the 4.6L. However, it’s really not much to look at when compared to the old school engines. It was really rather ugly. I’ve slowly been making modifications to the engine compartment and now it’s finished.

Here are some before and after pictures

Looks good David. Was it a fun chore to adapt the air cleaner? Nick

    Thanks!

Any moment in the garage working on the roadster is fun! Post #62 in this thread (on the other forum) shows some of the build-up of the turkey pan.

I run the 4.6 DOHC and was in the same camp a year ago. Searched and searched for 'bling'.
I ended up stripping most parts off and powder coating them all wrinkle black. Even the overflow tank and power steering reservoir.
I think it turned out okay. Still not like others, but a big improvement.

What intake manifold do you have on there?

I really don't like the look of mine.
