    Exhaust hangers

I have a few questions about the exhaust hangers. First, the drawings in the manual clearly appear to show a hanger at each end of the mufflers but it is not clear if there are hangers after that, although the text and a picture in the manual describe and show a hanger being used on the tail pipes. I only received a total of 4 hangers and brackets, that is what is listed on the inventory sheet for the exhaust components. So am I missing two hangers, or could there be two more in another box?

Also, I have a total of 16 3/8 X 2.5" bolts, 12 of which would be used to connect the ball joint flanges, do the hanger mounts use the other 4? If so that would mean you drill through both upper and lower floors as well as the frame tubes?

    Thanks, Gary

I only used two hangers just behind the cab, made a bracket to get hanger away from the joint/clamp; figured the headers would support the front - not dealing with much weight, I'll let you know if it fails

So a clamp at the muffler and one at the tail pipe?

Wow, I'm not sure i would be comfortable with that, I don't feel those ball-joint type couplings are the strongest.

I used a hanger/clamp at each end of the muffler. There are some additional clamps and hangers in other boxes - not sure which one.

I guess I'll have to do some searching.
