No real work except shift handle location. You will be much happier with a 5 speed.

for drive shaft can I use the drive shaft that ff5 sells? trans is about same length, spline is 28, so i'm assuming it will work.
Depending on what tail housing and output shaft you have makes a difference. Once you have it together and do some measuring and I can have one made for you for $300

Thanks Gordon, I have the transmission from a 66 fairline from a 390 car. Short tail 28 spline from what I found researching. I will hit you up as soon as I get it in. Will drive shaft come with spline for top loader and for 8.8 rear mount?

If you're considering a 429 Boss engine, I'm not certain it will fit. If I remember correctly they have monster sized heads. Has anyone put one of these in a FFR before?
