Boyd tank Stealth 340 pump
For those of you who purchased a Boyd tank for your 818, what has been your experience with the Aeromotive 340 series pump. They say there are 3 of the 340 series
pumps and not sure which Boyd installs. If it is a 11542 it flows a minimum of 225l/hr which is way more than even a reasonably tuned 2L should need.
I am thinking it may recycle so much fuel, it may actually heat it or the fuel pressure regulator can not control..
Any experience one would like to share??
Thanks

I've been using the Stealth 340 pump for ~10 years now from almost stock 'Stage 2' cars all the way to 650whp monsters. Never had an issue.
One thing to note, the sock provided is very short and will exacerbate fuel starvation issues. I suggest using the OEM sock.

Thanks for replies. This forum and users are a great help for new builders to Subaru.

Tom,
Did u use the stock fpr with your builds or an aftermarket? I worried the stock fpr can't handle the greater flow of the 340.
Thanks
