Hi Guys,
I just installed a splitter under the car using the FFR air dam (did widen the airdam as well) I was curious to see what everybody else was doing

Unfortunately the Challenge Car posts don't get a lot of attention.
I find your design interesting but not sure how well it will work. One thought, normally a splitter extends forward of the vertical airdam section. From the photos it doesn't seem that your design does. My understanding is that this extended flat plane is what develops the downforce.
There was a series of posts on aero on one of the forums.

Here's the post from the other forum. May not answer your question but it was a good series.

I had my splitter custom cut from ABS, it extends forward.

thanks for the input guys!
I came up with the idea for the splitter because of pictures like these; I figured that if the low pressure area under the floor sucks the car to the ground, the wooden board that I used should have a large as possible surface as possible, as if it were a bigger suction cup ;-P
Still new to aero though so I don't know if it should stick out further to the front or not
