    Coyote engine intake recommendations??

Currently looking at the Corra jet and the Boss intake for the Coyote Gen 1 engine we are putting into MK3. Also will I need to purchase the install kit? Will that be necessary? Looks like we need the tranny mount kit as well for the MT82 6 speed. Thank you in advance for input.

This will get you started. You may find some later comparisons with google.
I do not think the latest edition of the CJ intake is as good looking as the first ones.

well after posting, found the link is no longer active. Maybe Youtube will have it.
It seems to me the 2018 stock intake made power like the cj and tq like the best stock.
The truck intake made the highest tq, but fell off on hp on the upper rpm range.
Boss 302 was soft on tq and designed for high rpm.
Let us know what you find.
    good luck,

You can have any of these plastic intake manifolds ported also. A ported 2018 Mustang GT intake manifold flows pretty much the same as (or better) than the Cobra Jet. Boss 302 is no longer one of the top flowing manifolds either. If you’re going to 7-7.5k rpm I’d use the 2018, and if you plan to go to 8,000+ the Cobra Jet will do well. Remember though, the more focused on high rpm the manifold is designed from a flow perspective, the more it suffers on low end torque. That’s where the 2018 manifold really shines. It performs like 95% as good on the high end but doesn’t sacrifice much if any low end torque.

I’d do a Cobra Jet or 2018 manifold, and if you want, have whichever one you choose ported.
