Mk4 Hydro Boost help
Need help I'm looking to add a hydro boost power brake set up on my Mk4 with the Wilwood pedal box. I have the spacer from factory five and the tool to remove old mounting hardware and I’m going to order the hydro boost and master cylinder for 1996 thru 2004 mustang. I am seeing that the instructions from factory five, only shows what needs to be done on the side where the hydro boost goes on but nothing on the foot pedal side. Does anything need to be done to the pedal or any fab work to the pedal brackets? Anyone have pics or any advice? I would appreciate any Information or pics! thanks

Yes. You will need to modify the pedal box to add a pushrod from the brake pedal arm to the outside booster/master cylinder assembly. Mike Forte did the mod on my #7750 Roadster build. Whitby sold a kit that includes a new pedal arm, although I don't see it currently on their website. Another option is to change to a Mustang pedal box. But that's not a perfect solution if you want to do a hydraulic clutch, standard on the Wilwood pedal box.
