Autocross- two laps on video
This is last Sunday at the Cow Palace in Daly City, CA.
Two laps- first one intentionally thrashing/sliding the car, second one a bit more subdued and ~2 seconds quicker.
Sort of for demonstration purposes- not looking for feedback on my driving.
Gives you an idea of how the car behaves- works well for me.
The car rotates well and slides controllably- hamming it up for the camera at the end of the first lap.
Toyo R88Rs all around (275/315), stiffest front ant-roll bar setting, no rear anti-roll, 700f/500r lb springs (IRS)
Carbureted FRPP302, TKO600.
Body painted (nose rolled, body sprayed) with Petit EZPoxy marine paint (Ocean Blue).
Aero nose glassed back together from 3 cut sections and taped on.

I love your style. I'm hoping to get a little bit of your don't care mentality for mine. It's a race car!

That looks like a really fun time….maybe one day. That front chin aero spoiler must make it that fast. . I am impressed you already are using it . Way cool!

I arrived at the autocross shortly after Dave’s first run but got to see his second run which was great to see. It was great to meet him and Greg and see their Daytonas in person. Great guys with great cars!!
Dave took me for a ride in the hills above Cow Palace afterwards- to say it was a blast is an understatement! The instantaneous power deliver from his 302 is quite something and the handling is great. I have to say I love everything about his car. Mine arrives in March and there will plenty of what I do that follows what he has done. Greg’s car was extremely impressive also but he had power steering issues so I didn’t get to see him run at his best.
