    FFR 6401 - Deliverd 6/5/2008

All, recently we had a member pass away due to heart complications. His kit is completely unassembled and I've yet to take inventory of the car to determine what parts beyond the base kit were ordered. I told his Wife I would come assess what is there along with RichGRSC and help her with pricing. We know the following about the kit:
    - FFR6401
    - Ordered with IRS
    - For a Modular 4.6

We know he has wheels and tires, but, due to the age of the tires, those would only be good for some burnouts or during assembly to roll around on.

Question to the group - What did a base kit cost in 2008 with the IRS and Mod Motor options? This would be an MKIII, right?

Once the kit has been inventoried, I will post up what it has and assist the owner with the sale.

Other suggestions I need to be on the lookout for while doing the inventory?

    Thanks, Tim M

    Tim,
I was sorry to hear of Kerry's passing. I remember him from the forum and am pretty sure that I met him either at RunN'Gun or LCS, maybe both.

A mid 2008 kit would be a 3.1 which primarily had some changes to the footbox aluminum to better accommodate the Mod motors. The complete kit was introduced with the 3.1 and the value will be impacted somewhat if it is a complete kit vs base. Pretty sure that in 2008 the 3.1 base was 12,990 and the complete was 19,990. Also important is whether Kerry had all of the components for the old T-Bird based IRS (Rich will be familiar with that). There is no difference in the chassis for the 4.6 so a potential purchaser is not locked into a Mod Motor and could go with a Windsor if that is their preference.

Good on you guys for helping Kathy out with this.

    Jeff

Tim, do you have the Bill of Sale or an Inventory list?
Possible upgrades? Not sure what FFR offered then. PS, PB, Hydroboost, 4-into-1 headers, disc-brakes, guage package, leather seats, steering wheel, passenger roll-bar, Chrome roll-bars, wind-wings, visors, wiper kit, SS Over-rider bumpers.
Any Breeze or other after-market parts?

Mark, all to be determined when we can do an assessment and inventory. As you know services this coming week. Then when Kathy is up to it.
The GCC needs to show support, know your car is still off the road, as is Tony's and mine, but we still to be there for our friend.
