Good afternoon,

I am reengaging! I am a reasonably long-time member (2011) here but spent all my time in the other forum. After a while, it became way to political, ever-less interesting and I faded away. Career demands also played a large / outsized role. What has not abated over time is my interest in the Type 65.

I cannot yet amend / bring my profile up to date but will do so as soon as I can. Here are a few bits: I am a retired Army Officer / combat veteran / retired Civil Servant. Bought raw land and built a family centric home on Whidbey Island. Also built a large shop. I now find myself at a point where I can earnestly consider / pursue building this car.

I do know the Type 65 has been refined several times and before I get too enamored at the prospect of building one - I need to know if 'I can actually fit' into that rascal. I am about 70 years old, in excellent health, vigor and mobility, 6' 3" and about 270 lbs.

Thus, a humble request. Is there anyone within Washington State that would be willing to allow me to take a good look at the current production Type 65 - and perhaps be gracious enough to let me see if I can reasonably fit?

Thanks for taking the time to have a read and do stay sharp out there.

Allen
