So i started putting the side window inserts on my coupe. The driver side i did it just like Paul did. I did have a struggle point around the lower bracket because when i put the rubble weather strip, the bracket got in the way. So i attached a piece of weather-strip between the bracket and car. The remainder stayed on the window.
When i did the passenger side i thought of something different. I put the complete weather strip seal on the inside of the car and not on the window. I found it to have a nice seal and visually cleaner. So i will leave both styles on for driving test/trial. The change the other to the style it works well.
