    My 20th build

Well, over the past two weeks I have given myself a 69th birthday present: A 35 Hot Rod build for myself. Delivery of the kit is around the end of March. My plans are for it to be a retro rod look. No fenders, no hood, no engine side covers. I bought a Gen 4 coyote crate motor from FFR and ordered my 10R80 10spd auto transmission for it. I bought a set of Forgiato wheels for it ($$$$$) along with 305/40/20's rear and 285/35/20' in the front tires. Wilwoods F & R.
About all the options including IRS! Thanks goes out to Jim Schenk and Dave Smith for that one. Planning on using House of Kolor paint. Have a few of those "fact5racer" custom mods planned.

Congrats. That should be a great birthday present. I am sure it will be a top notch build. Have fun.

I was told by FFR tech, that the 10R80 was too big for the trans tunnel and the tunnel/chassis would need modified to fit. I wasn't in that kind of mood when I ordered. LOL Hindsight, I probably should have done it!
