While searching for a brake light issue saw several postings about engine heat.
When I started up my project for the first time I felt that too much heat was trapped in the engine compartment.
Discussing my concern with the amount of engine heat with a fellow builder he suggested hood vents from a 1985-1990 Camaro.
This is a picture of the aluminum louvers (from Summit) and how they look on my build. The air flow is substantial in reducing the heat buildup. They are not period correct but close.
