I apoligize in advance, and especially to Paul, for posting a question about the pigtail wiring from the Ford Controls Pack wiring harness to the RF harness. The problem may lie in the different versions of the instructions (mine came with version IS-1850-580, not the version IS-1850-0678 which everybody seems to link to). Additionally, my engine is a Ford Aluminator, though it is based on the Coyote and Ford says the wiring is the same. My question - My control pack pigtail has 5 wires coming out of it though all of the instructions speak to as many as 6 or 7. As has been pointed out many times, I followed the instructions and connected the dark green wire on the pigtail to the RF fuel pump circuit; the light blue wire on the pigtail to the RF blue EFI Crank Power wire; the light green ignition trigger wire to the RF orange EFI and the black ground to chassis ground. According to the instructions, there are supposed to be other wires that are not used because they are for paddle shifters (wire colors GY, GY-VT and BU.) My pigtail does not have any of these wires, however, it does have a red wire that is labeled HAAT. On the instructions I have, it indicates to "Connect this lead to locations as needed: 1) the input node of the ignition cylinder." These instruction also identify 2 other wires from the pigtail that are supposed to connect to the MIL. I don't have either of these wires on the pigtail, but my MIL is separately wired in the Controls Pack Harness along with the diagnostic port from a branch just before the pigtail.
I hope this question is clear enough for the experts. My bottom line question is what do I do with the HAAT red wire coming off the pigtail and should I be concerned that these other wires are not present.
Thank you all for your help.
