Mark 3.1 Graduation - Long overdue

Likely the last of the Mark 3 series to be completed. The car was registered last summer but, a fuel injection problem ( Powerjection), prevented me from driving it. Well it's been resolved after some computer work with the help of my son. This car is one of 3 that I know of using the front flip designed by 2BKing. Once I completed the build I sent it to Mike Everson, where he had it painted and completed the final assembly. Actually, he did more than that. Anyone that has worked with Mike knows how talented he is and the pride he takes in every project. Mike designed the front inner wheel wells which look like a racecar but, more important are functional. Mike installed a lot of goodies like, aluminum in the nose and aluminum spacers for the quick jacks in the rear. Trim rings around the roll bars and window frame. Mike upgraded the door latches with the newer style. I think they are a little more robust than what I had although I know some think otherwise. That's the beauty of building this car, you can do what you want.

I haven't been on the forum for a while but, wanted to put closure on this project. Hopefully, it motivates those of you who have not been out in the shop for a while.

    All the best- Mick

Some of the details in the build-

    Q1 adjustable coil overs
    IRS aluminum pumpkin 3:55 gears
Mustang cobra brakes powered by a Hydro-boost unit. Stops on a dime!
Aluminum radiator and surround from Breeze, Power steering pump and Q1's purchased from Mark as well. - Great vendor very helpful
Pin drive Vintage Wheels 17 inch.
    302 mild cam- GT40 heads
Stainless exhaust from Gas-n, thanks George! For anyone on the fence, the sound is easy on the ears and they are beautiful.
