Shockingly beautiful!!
What an amazing build!
Congratulations on a truly beautiful car.
Regards,
Steve
fact5racer how about a few interior shots and some engine bay shots of how you stuffed that super charger in there.
Attached are some pictures of my recently finished Gen1 #54. Engine is a race-tuned Cadillac Escalade with a Porsche G50-20 transaxle. Onboard are 4 selectable high-res video cameras into a touch screen monitor and heads-up display. Electric linear actuators on the aft hatch with full remote control. Since my field is electronics I developed a miniature wireless control system built into a Momo steering wheel that permits me to control up to 16 different functions in the car such as actuators, various lights, fans, horn, etc.

So many great looking cars. Looking forward to getting started on one.
I got the gtm book for 3or4 years now still thinking about it ,I already have my cobra so next one for my wife 818C
Went to the bank today.... Looks like it might soon be a reality for me. GTM ...here I come.
Steve, your car looks fantastic.
Just an old man with a great hobby
I love this thread. It's very inspirational. I cant wait to have my #399 complete to showcase up here.
On a different note, since the numbers are still relatively low, I would be an awesome "family tree" compilation to have a picture associated with each numbered kit. I like the calendars that have been produced with the numbers posted with them....but wouldn't it be cool to be able to thumb through a 425 page book to see what kit #004 or #400 turned out to be?
i feel like this thread is missing a car.......... come on Gene! Give the people what they want! lol
Mike you're next! which is appropriate seeing the work you put into this thread for the rest of us to enjoy.
WOW Mike!!!! the car looks awesome. Defiantly worth the wait. Hope you enjoy it for a loooong time.

GTM #0081
Well.... Here is proof that my car is finished and complete.
I posted the entire group of pictures that are being used to market my car for sale. Isn't it a hoot that I post the finished complete photos, and they come from the sale of the car. After 8 plus years, I felt like I needed a different project to get my head out of the rut, and to make it fun again. So that's the plan. I want to build a 62 Corvette (Pro Touring style), but I also want to build the new FFR Gen 3 Daytona. I may see if I can find a way to do both in parallel. We'll have to see how that works out.
In the meantime, I wanted to post my last pictures of Pandora. With the help of a lot of good people and friends made here on this forum along the way; as well as some real craftsmanship with the interior and the exterior, I think she turned out very well. She's a dead ringer for the picture that I've had of her in my head since 2007. Thank you Tony Kutas (Charlotte Speed Shop), Steve Kurzman (The Custom Stitching Co.), and Tony Klein of RK Motors Charlotte, for the amazing detailing that you're people performed to get her ready for her glamour shots. The pictures and Video are just incredible.
Thank you to everyone here for your non-stop support and encouragement. This forum is full of awesome people that I am happy to call friends.
So with that said...

Pam & I would thank the Factory Five Forum. I could not have made it to this point without you!
See you soon in the Daytona Forum...

Here are a couple of Videos that I'm sort of proud of:
Hot Rod Madness... This was a fun conversation.
Charlotte Auto Fair, Spring 2017. Antony (Tony Kutas) of Charlotte Speed Shop does the introduction; and I'm glad he did, because I was too dumb to remember to give him the recognition that he and his guys deserve for the work that they did on Pandora. Two years of precise effort. He and his guys are just awesome.
If you live anywhere near Charlotte, NC, and you're looking for a stellar company with the experience that you are paying for, you owe it yourself to call and talk to him.
Believe it or not, in the 8 years for building this car, this was the FIRST time that I had ever really spent any time trying to explain the different stages of the build: Much less doing so with a television camera pointed at me...

R. K. Motors - Charlotte Marketing Video
I'm not sure who records and edits the sales videos for the cars that they sell, but I thought it sure turned out pretty cool.

Nice work Stig and also thanks for this "Finished GTM" post. Really good to see all the work everyone has accomplished. I really like what you did to your GTM, nice work. Interior is the perfect color. Porsche 997 Gauges, that is a much better looking than the stock FFR dash gauges.
Cheers, LC

I sold GTM #12 to an enthusiast in Illinois. I had purchased this GTM to build for myself. So I did a few body modifications. Then my situation is life changed and it became clear that my time was no longer going to be available for the GTM. So I sold this car as is in primer. The new owner convince me to paint it just like #14. So I planned for the car to be blue for me, but it's fate was to be red. And I think it turned out great. The car is heading towards Nebraska to get finished up. This ends my 10 year affair building three GTMS. It's been a great ride. Enjoy.

I sold this one to a guy who finished the body work and paint. Glad I did not have to do it, LOL. Came out really nice, IMO.
