Insurance and title
I am ready to purchasing a Factory Five MKIII that is built and titled in California. It is SB100 compliant.
The Certificate of Title has a VIN shows the model year as 0000, and the make as SPCNS. It is licensed and shows a plate number.
I would want to title and license the car in Illinois and was wondering if there are any unforeseen issues in doing this. Also any recommendations for insurance?

I would check with the DMV equal in Illinois about your registration question. My insurance is with Heacock.

This will probably be treated as a "specially constructed vehicle" in Illinois. A place to start could be the Illinois Specially Constructed Vehicle Program, 217-557-2086.
