RoRi's Custom Parts - Radiator Spacers

These spacers raise the radiator by 18mm giving you the clearance you need to prevent the steering rack bellows from rubbing on the radiator hose. They are grooved on the inside to retain the OEM bushing. The bottom protrusion is offset by 1mm acting as a cam and allowing you to fine tune the placement of the radiator left, right, fore, aft, or simply to compensate for imperfectly welded tabs on the FFR frame. Includes 2 spacers, 2 washers, and 2 button head screws.

$60 plus $5.80 priority mail shipping in the USA. International shipping available.

Bottom Cam is offset 1mm and fits into FFR frame:

After raising the radiator, any problem with hood or other body part clearance?

There should be plenty of clearance. I raised mine up quite a bit and still have a good inch of clearance IIRC. The main reason to raise it is because if you don't the lower hose hits the steering rack bellows.

What has to be done with the top brackets on the radiator if you raise the bottom? Does the kit include 18 mm spacers for the top as well? Can you post a picture of the solution on top please?

    Cheers,

If there's an inch or so above between the radiator and the hood, won't a portion of the airflow bypass the radiator and out the hood vents? Would a fitted sheet of aluminum from the radiator between the headlights to the end of the hood be worth the effort?
