Elvis is in the building ...

I'm finally getting around to posting a few pictures of the new Challenge Car. I've named the car "Elvis" for no real reason other than it is similar to Elvira. This is a "turn key" car built by Bob Kay and massaged by our local "Cobra Whisperer", Joe Camire. It's a 331 stroker with the Trick Flow heads and intake, DSS rotating assembly. I'm expecting the state inspector either today (Sat.) or Monday, then I can begin the registration/titling process. Can't wait to get this car on the road (legally)!

    Hi Garry,

It's good to see that there's another Automotive Literate owner of a FFR car. I've been an owner of a Challenge car as well as my current '33. Burt Levy's book is immortalized here as well.........................

Buddy Palumbo and I are well acquainted as I raced a 120 Jag OTS for nearly 20 years prior to owning the FFR Challenge car. I used to pump gas at Finzio's Sinclair, too. Here's to the Last Onion Roll........
