Taken on Lake Street in front of Siebkens Resort, located at "The Hard Left" on the original street course where races were held before the opening of Road America.

Description of Setting
Across from the ridiculously expensive and trendy Javiers Restaurant in Corona Del Mar (commonly seen on the even more ridiculous OC Housewives) sits this small parking lot which serves as access to the Corona Del Mar beach front. Not many areas exist where you can get a unobstructed view of the ocean in your shot so I come here often to shoot my cars. You also get such a nice orange glow during the golden hour of the early evening. The pozzi blue paint of this 289 comes off as near black in this lighting as opposed to blue in the daylight hours.
Location
Corona Del Mar, CA

The picture is my Daytona going through turn 8 and 8a aka the corkscrew during an open track day with the Northern California Shelby Club. November 27, 2015, approximately 1:30. Delivered 2011 built 2012 by Karen Salvaggio and Rick Anderson. SB 100, street legal, 347 Ford.
The first photo was taken on the straight (at about 100mph) at New York Safety Track with a Nikon D610, 70-200mm lens on my first track day out (8/28/15) with the car. The other two were from the second track day I did (10/3/15) at the same track (passenger is my 55 year old mother, having a blast). My 818R is powered by a built EJ257/205 motor and now has a VIN in NYS
Palomar Mountain Road in San Diego County New Years Day, 2014. Photo was taken by a pro who sets up the corners and shoots everything that drives by. I've purchased the photo and have the rights to the image.
This picture was taken at the Madras, Oregon Air Museum (Erickson collection) on our way to Monterey Race Week. The P-51 pilot was nice enough to allow us to park in front of his beautiful P-51 for photos. Afterwards he took off to the North and made a 90/270 degree turn to fly back over us at about 100 feet and going very fast. Cool beyond belief.
Taken in the Ozark mountains in southern Missouri. We stopped at a scenic overlook just off highway 39, North of Shell Knob, Mo. The picture was taken at sunrise on labor day weekend. No special effects added, and of course, the photo doesn't do the scene justice. My wife and I were there to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. We had a fun weekend cruising the mountain roads!
Various settings around Sienna Plantation, outside Houston Texas. All pictures taken with Canon EOS 40D, with Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM lens. Timing around mid-day, with bright sun directly overhead popping in and out of clouds. Car color is Ford Highland Green Metallic (i.e. Bullitt Mustang) but appears black on some shots due to lighting angle.
Photo taken by a photographer at a local car show. Only special effects is the background of the picture was changed and I added the FFR logo to this particular picture.
Driving one Sunday morning and noticed this restaurant up the mountains by Snowbasin Ski Resort (where the 2002 winter Olympics were held). It was Sunday morning and the restaurant wasn't open yet so I thought I would snap a photo with my cell phone. Photo quality was enhanced only with Microsoft Paint. This photo was used for the banner at the top of FFCARS dot com website.
This picture was taken by Jeff Morris of Morris Photography in Denver at his request. He approached us during a local cars and coffee and offered to take pictures of our cars for free if he could use the pictures in his portfolio. Ralph and I readily agreed and arranged to meet Jeff at dawn at Ralph's house. The picture is taken in Ralph's front yard looking west. Ralph's car, a Mark 3.1 kit which he built, is on the left. My car on the right is a Mark 4 (F5R10008017RD) built for me by Gordon Levy. Jeff used a Canon EOS 6D camera with an EF50 mm 5/1.4 USM lens. ISO was 320, aperture f/10.0, F-stop f/10.0 and shutter speed 1/100. Jeff has consented to the submission of this picture to the FFforum as a POM.
