lets see if photobucket is any better. So here's an update. Got the car tuned and it took a while to iron out an idle issue but appears to be resolved. Josh (touchstone) came over and helped my by wiring up my headlights and another buddy made a stiffer accelerator pedal ( supplied one flexed alot). While I designed a why to use the reverse lockout feature. I thought that the lockout was spring loaded into 6th but it was in reverse so I then designed what I have now which works. I used a door lock actuator and have a button under the left of my seat that you push to get the car in reverse. We also got the center console rapped with vinyl. so here is a video of the tune pics soon to follow

386 is great for a 20g on pump gas! Since the RPMs are skewed on that dyno plot, what RPM is peak torque actually hitting?
not quite sure where the max torque is. also I have a FP 71HTA turbo. the power is limited not by the motor or turbo but by the MAF sensor (hits its limit of 5v if we give anymore boost). I think it is only at 21-22 lbs of boost but no complaints from me!

386 that's awesome, judging by the quick roll when the turbo kicked in I knew there was more than OEM power in there!

Got the new sti Guage installed and the abs light to turn I off by putting power to i10 pin 18. Blue carbon fiber /kevlar installed on dash and side of doors (still covered in tape. Side sails, nose, front finders instwlled. Doors still aren't quite right and temp installed the rear. I have to pull the bumper back so that it doesn't rest on my shifter linkage. Open to ideas on what to attach to throw mesh where I need to make a pass through for the exhaust. Also trimmed my fuel filler pipe to fit with the Boyd tank.

I noticed you had some sections of metal tubing and couplers from the fuel filler cap to the tank. If you didn't roll a bead on the metal, it may leak fuel when topped off. Those FFR couplers have a generous amount of ID clearance to the metal tubes - I wouldn't call them very snug. I actually bought a bead roller and tried to roll some beads but it cam out not as good as I wanted since the filler tube is stainless and much harder than aluminum. I might get one of these Gates tubes to simplify the number of couplers:

What about a different coupler?

I tried that too, I bought a 2" silicone hump hose and it still seemed a bit too big.

Nice work, Nolan! I also got my 818 licensed recently and agree it's a blast to drive!! When someone asks what it is, I ask them first what they think it is. So far, Corvette 2, Lotus 1, Ferrari 1. Since you went to a show, did you get more impressions?

Looks great... how's driving on the street with a R screen? I'm toying with the idea of getting one for my S for trackdays, Sunday drives or just wanting to play Speedracer at C&C.
Who is the owner of the 818 that was at the April Cars and Coffee? It is orange with black stripes and is in the video on the page link below.

By neighbors, are you referring to the second 818 behind it? From a comment in one of the build threads it sounded like one lived in North Dallas and the other about 15 minutes away, maybe in Addison.
THey live close together and have shared a bunch of info is what I mean...

I've been asked if it was an S2000 or a MR2 a few times each. Josh and I are the two 818''s furthest along but there are two other 818''s in progress in Dallas that I know of though I haven't met either in person.
