I have messed up and need advice!

I was torquing up front suspension and think I used wrong setting. See photo. The plastic bush part just snapped off. Is this going to be a problem or do I need a new part?

Finally started my build the beginning July. 2015!

Oops. The manual doesn't give a torque setting for those nuts. It just says to tighten until minimal endplay and can still rotate. You need to replace the broken bushings. Pretty sure those are SPC parts. Maybe someone knows the part numbers. Or call Factory Five.

Pretty sure if you follow my directions here you can order the pivot(s). I got all of mine through Summit after getting the numbers from the SPC site.

FFR tech service is the best source of info for this type of situation. And they will be able to provide parts if required.

This looks like the right part. No dimensions given though. Also looks like only available as an assembly, e.g. bracket plus bushing. Fortunately, not too expensive. Available at Summit for $25. http://store.specprod.com/productdetail/M50/1/1/92025

    Thanks Ed!
Tried to purchase and register with Summit but there is no option for Canada!
Looks like I will have to buy from FFR. I don't know anyone in the states that could ship for me.

    Per edwardb's post: https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?...&hsimp=yhs-001

You could also call SPC and see if they sell the bushings separately for Item #: 92025 : OFFSET PIVOT BRACKET. I'm thinking you would have to have them pressed-in, though?

Thanks Dale. The SPC part# is sold by Jegs, Summit and others. They must take long lunches because I get voicemail for all of them!!

At least I know what to buy now.
