'64 Shelby Cobra at Pebble Beach Auction

Could be yours for a cool $25M. Thought the picture of the interior and dashboard was particularly interesting.

Now states its a 1962 model year on that link.

"First" implies that it's the original Cobra as exhibited in the Shelby museum. So, evidence of the multiple paint jobs would be the first indicator, plus past photos showed the drivers seat in far worse shape. I'll chalk up the inconsistencies to "auction hype."

It went for 12.5 Million. Impressive for a little car with a big heart!

You can always spend other peoples money better than they can. $12.5m , let's say you can build a very nice Mk4 for $60k, I believe that would give me 208 Mk4's ! Took me 13 months to complete mine, so that gives me 225 years to build all 208! Set for life.
