I am at the pedal box portion of my 818C build and the directions state to bolt the top of the pedal box to the chassis...one problem, there is no cross member there to bolt it to?!
Isn't this supposed to be a welded part of the chassis?

I wonder if maybe that bracket isn't there for the cars that are ordered with the Wilwood pedal clusters or something, and you got the wrong version?
If you live near Atlanta GA, I'd be happy to weld something up for you.
Tell them you would be happy to accept a Weldwood pedal assbly for free to fix problem.
Now Was That Frame Built On A Monday Or Friday.
This must be a new 818 Feature and the parts are on back-order
Have you discussed with FFR?? I agree it could be a new feature to allow use of the OEM or Wilwood pedal assy.
The missing pedal mount is a good thing, mine didn't come close to fitting in the original location. I had to cut it out then bolt the bracket in place and then weld it properly.image.jpg
I followed up with F5 and they are going to send me a bracket to install. I just hope I don't have to pull every thing out to get it on. Definitely made on a Friday, after lunch...
Hindsight ~ I am in Alpharetta. I don't have any welding gear...and it has been a long time since I did any welding!
No kidding?! I am in Alpharetta too! How is it that there is another 818 owner here and I am just now finding out about it? I'd be happy to weld the bracket up for you.
