Congrats!!
And another call to hear how this one was rescued. Judging by the body color, that kit is 15 years old or more - yet unbuilt!!!

Look at the bright side...it'll be "new" when you finish!
Enjoy the build!

Congratulations! And like the others, I would love to hear the story on how you came to get her.
I look forward to seeing her come to life.

Steve
I found the car using search tempest, and would simply search periodically looking for a partial of project kit build. I have had several cars in the past I built including a 79 Mustang coupe with a 429 BBF that I did over 20 years ago for less than $4000, including price of car, motor overhaul and custom exhaust. I ask folks here on this forum about the car, most said run away including FFR. I love a challenge and even more being told "no or don't". Did pay too much? Maybe, but the Gentleman I got her from was so pleasant and I have gained a new friend. He purchased practically all the upgrades and everything was still in original boxes. I'm excited for this build and maybe the stepping stone for a MK4. I'm planning on a 427 small block, and simple "era correct" build, and all yalls experience to guide and help!
