    Anyone from Louisiana know of a good place to have the cars inspected? The guy I went to on Tuesday says that we have to have all the emission crap, cats, O2 sensors, etc. I live in West Monroe area....

    Did mine in baton rouge. Didn't have to go through all the emissions stuff. If I recall correctly I paid my taxes at DMV. They gave me a list of what I had to have for the inspection. I had to call the state police to do the inspection ( one guy does it). Got my inspection sticke denile letter from the glass shop (no registration yet) set an appointment with stAte police to look at it. The did, then the DMV sent my tag and registration to the officer. Couple of weeks later he brought my tag to me and double checked the vins and gave me my paper work.
