Some photos of my fenders and their mold defects. Are all fenders pretty equal in this regard, or are some worse than others?

Your seams look like mine, except my body is white.
818S/C : Chassis #25 with 06 WRX 2.5 turbo, ABS, cruise, PS, A/C, Apple CarPlay, rear camera, power windows & locks, leather & other complexities. Sold 10/19 with 5,800 miles.
Mk3 Roadster #6228 4.6L, T45, IRS, PS, PB, ABS, Cruise, Koni's, 17" Halibrands, red w/ silver - 9K miles then sold @ Barrett-Jackson Jan 2011 (got back cash spent).
Same here, really disappointed with the way they came. I hadn't noticed as they were bubble wrapped and I was concentrating on the chassis first. All the other body panels looked really good.

That is typical, same as the Roadster and Coupe, knock down, grove them fill them and your ready for paint or wrap

I'm game to do the bodywork, just curious what others received. I have never had a project that got me so bummed out and super enthused at the same time! I know it is going to be worth the effort to finish the car, but there is a LOT of work to making a nice car.
Just make sure before you sand, to wash all the mold release off.

I think the fender geometry is challenging for the molding process. Whenever I get down about aspects of this kit I just think for a minute about how MUCH you get from Factory Five for the money. It is an impressive accomplishment that I dont think has an equal in the industry. I do wish they were better, but I could say that about a lot of things! (me included)
