FFR33 #997 (Gen1 chassis, Gen2 body), license plate DRIVE IT says it all! build thread
My build: 350SBC, TKO600, hardtop, no fenders/hood, 32 grill, 3 link, sway bars, 355/30r19
Previous cars: GTD40, Cobra, tubeframe 55 Chevy, 66 Nova, 56 F100
That's the same vent my 8.8 is equipped with!
Anyone with the IRS setup have a vent in theirs? Mine didn't come with one and have been trying to track one down.
Got my fitting and tube from my Ford dealer. Tube had to be straightened in some places and bent in others for a good fit. A heat gun works very well with the tube. Easy to bend or straighten. Just take your time.

I used a glass filter with the hose connection removed from one end and frame mounted.

MKII "Little Boy". 432CI all aluminum Windsor. .699 solid roller, DA Koni shocks, aluminum IRS, Straight cut dog ring T-5, 13" four piston Brembos, Bogart wheels. BOOM!
No longer available from Ford.
The hole is about the same size as 3/8 Tube. I clamped a hose around a short piece of tubing, and then epoxied the tubing into the hole in the differential. That was about 2 years ago. It's only a track car, so it doesn't get a lot of miles. But it seems to be holding well.
