Does any on know how to hook up a Chev. single post alt. to the Factory five wiring harness?

Does any on know how to hook up a Chev. single post alt. to the Factory five wiring harness?

Cut the plugs off and link the two larger wires together while you block off the smaller wires or you can peel the loom back where they all split/connect and re-splice in one wire to your one wire alternator.
In addition, you can look at your wiring schematic for confirmation or simply call Dan or Courtney at Factory Five to confirm this modification as well.
Now if you just had a Chevy Engine to go with that Chevy Alternator, then all would be right with the world.

I did just like GoDadGo said. I cut the plugs off, capped the smaller wires and left them in place, peeled the loom back to where the large wires joined & put a ring connector on the remaining stub.

Depending on where your alternator is located, you may need to route its wire separately from the other power wires. Don't be afraid to take the wires out of their loom to get the best fit.
