Hi: I have a rag top for my 818S and also side curtains. Will the Factory 5 A/c package adapt easily to this kit and should the discharge keep the passenger compartment cool? Capt. Bill

I didn't know that FFR offers an A/C kit for the 818, but I put A/C in my 818 utilizing the donor compressor and other components from Vintage Air. I've got air coming from 4 dash vents but the passenger compartment is so small that it will probably work fine just from any outlet. If you PM your email address, I'll send you a pdf showing what I did and what parts.

I've been for a ride in Pete's car, and even on a warm day in Phoenix, it worked pretty damned good!
Hi Pete, I would greatly appreciate it if you could send me a pdf of the A/C for the 818. I’m just in the planning stages. [email protected]. Thanks! Jim

FFR has a soft top, but that is it. Otherwise you will be rowing your own.
danpower: "What about a heater?"
The AC unit from Vintage Air that I put in my 818 included a heater core, so I added a heater, also. You can download the online Vintage Air catalog to pick what fits your needs and you could also add a windshield defroster pretty easily. Or, if you don't live in a place like frostbite Minnesota, you could easily add electric seat heaters.

Can confirm the vintage air setup works awesome. Have been using it in mine for a couple months in GA.
