New guy looking for a upclose Cobra or 65 look see.

Hello all,
First post here and I'm hoping there are some Cobra and Type 65 owners/builders in South Florida. I'm in Coral Springs (just South of Boca Raton) and work in West Palm Beach. I will complete some major life goals/transitions in the next 6 months (Doctorate and daughter married off!) and would love to start a build. Decided an RV-8 airplane is out of my league and comfort zone...that and the ability to just pull over in a auto engine failure just makes more sense! I'm leaning towards the Cobra but I hear the siren call of the Type 65 too.

Also, are there FF5 groups/clubs around int he S. Florida area?

I live in Delray and am considering 65 as well. I have a friend who built the MK4. He goes to rallies occasionally. I will ask if he minds exchanging e-mails.
