Been a long time FFR fan and finally ordered my MK4 roadster. I've been wanting to build my 427 Cobra kit car for over 40 years but life, family and business obligations took preference. Well before its too late I'm finally going to do it. I went to the Roadster build school at MCC and found it to be very rewarding and informative not to mention convincing me that I can really build my own life's dream.
Delivery is scheduled for January 20th 2018. Merry Christmas to ME! haha

Finalized my order yesterday with Sally and Jay at FFR. Using Stewart to transport my kit. Jan 20 completion date and stewart will call to arrange a drop off date. I'm guessing first week of Feb. Just had a small furnace installed in my garage yesterday and now I can pick up the lumber today to make my rolling dolly and body buck in preparation. Weather is crazy cold here!!! 0 degrees and -20 wind chill.
Re arranging the garage in preparation for delivery of the kit I ordered. Payments are made and Stewart is notified. Completion date is this Saturday, Jan 20th. Working on the rolling dolly and body buck. Should be completed by this weekend. Getting very excited for delivery sometime after next week. I'm getting a little nervous about the snow we are getting and wondering if anyone got their delivery in the snow and any good tips on anything extra I should do to prepare?
Congrats on the beginning. I'm about at the same spot as you. My kit completion date was January 13th. Hoping to hear from Stewart soon as well on delivery date.

Congratulations on your car's birthday! Waiting for delivery is the really hard part...
Have you finalized any of the build details? Nice job getting the heater installed in the garage. Although I am quite a bit farther South than you, it's still too cold to work in my garage, even with the space heater.
Good luck as you get started, and post some pictures of your delivery so we can all share in the excitement!!
Awesome to hear it, just started on our shop car my self, from a 2/2014 build date. Needless to say, we are past our 45 day grace period from missing/mis-shipped parts.
After seeing other builds in progress I like the elevated dollys so that I don't have to get on my knees that often. Don't have the best knees anymore.
I will modify my dolly so that I'm at least 36" off the floor.
Just found out Stewart has a hydraulic issue and needs to get fixed before they can schedule the delivery. Maybe next week now.
Hang in there. Nice to have another CNY builder!
I just finished inventorying my Coupe and am working on parts prep and the IFS. Looking forward to seeing your build.
Gen 3 Coupe #68, Ordered 10/23/17, Picked up 01/06/18
After seeing Yama-bro's MK4 build and the body buck that he built, I've decided to use his Body Buck plans for best use of my garage. A lot more lumber BUT much better use of space.
Just found out yesterday that a friend from many years ago has purchased an already built Daytona FFR 3 years ago. Thru a mutual friend I discovered this and immediately texted him and he responded immediately and now we have a common reason to get together to share our FFR journey.
He is very excited for me to begin my MK4 build.
This forum is awesome and a great place for information. I'm feeling more confident every time I get on and read.
Talked to Sally yesterday and she indicated that Stewart will be loading up my Roadster on Thursday and I will be the first drop off on Friday. I figure middle to late afternoon
Getting very excited
5-10" of snow coming tomorrow. Hopefully it will be clear on Friday so I have a clean driveway.
Talked to the Stewart Driver and he is currently in Atlanta and won't be at FFR until Probably Monday for loading cars. So it looks like middle to end of next week now.
