Thanks Dave,
I plan on attending on Thursday. Sorry I couldn't get my car over there in time to be part of the display, but had a house full through Sunday night. Last weekend was the Brian Redman International Challenge vintage races at Road America. Next year you guys should plan on attending that and then driving around the other side of Lake Winnebago for the EAA show. They're usually back to back like this year. The vintage races draw a huge crowd - and have several builders of replicas there. Things like Scarabs, Cheetahs, Devons and other nice cars all done with modern components for the most part. Some have aluminum bodies.
See you Thursday,
Tom Veale
PS: I think we could make this something for all FFR owner/drivers similar to the London, OH event. Drive to the track, get registered for lunch time Track Touring on Friday, Paddock all our FFR cars in one location at the track for the weekend and then head to EAA the following Monday. Think about it for next year!

We might be able to negotiate a "Group Discount" on tickets. I'll check into that if you would like.

I'm bringing two friends with me today. We all won't fit in the '33, so we're bringing the Flex.........................

My shop is at a local airport just a couple hours south of Oshkosh - and one of my neighbors took his toy up there......

Beautiful!
I had a nice visit with Dan at the FFR Booth and did "Show and Tell" with my two neighbors I'd brought along. The new '35 Truck is very cool. The new Daytona Coupe is spectacular, too. Thanks FFR for bringing all your toys to the EAA.

Hi Dave, How are we going to fit one of those radial engines into a '33 HR?

Dave et al, thanks for coming to Oshkosh. I was there on Tuesday for my day job and stopped by since I'd been getting serious about buying one. Getting to sit in one of the Mk4 Roadsters was exactly what I needed to make the decision. Put my deposit down 3 days later, and can't wait to get started.
When I fly the loud machine (MU-2) back east in a couple months I'd like to stop in and see the facility if I can work it on the schedule.

Missed EAA this year, had to be in England for the Farnborough Airshow. As a sponsor of the AIA pavilion they did let me sit in an Apache at least.

An R-3350 would be fun. Could also take a TPE-331 if you just wanted all out loud.

I'm very disappointed I missed it. Will you be there in 2019?
