I'm new to the factory five blog I'm 6'3 and 220 lbs I would like to know if this car is for me . I know if I put an automatic trans in I'll have more room but how about the back of the seat is it like is it to straight or can you lay back a little?

I am 5'10" and drive my '33 without wearing shoes. It's a manual and this way it's comfortable. However my son is 6'3" and simply cannot fit his knees under the steering wheel ( and he is a professional athlete!).
I am 6'3" tall and 235lbs. I fit in my 33 perfect. Lots of room. Sold it to a guy 6'5" tall and he fit fine. Auto is way to go for good foot room, IMO.
I extended my pedals forward 5" and down 3" to give me the leg room to move my seat forward. So there are lots of options if you don't mind some fabrication work.
I would agree, an auto is certainly the way to go to get the most leg room. Also the big and tall seats and the tilt column would certainly help! Its all in how you configure your seating position and trans tunnel, both can be configured in such a way to be able to fit someone your size. The car we just built is setup to accommodate a 6'3 to 6'5 driver, LS powered 4L60 auto car, plenty of room.
You can also narrow the tunnel at the gas pedal, I gained almost 2''.
What did you do to the tunnel ans seat to hrlp a taller driver?
I also narrowed the tunnel with 700r4 trans. Also installed adjustable seat tracks, for different drivers.
According to FFR, they have made some improvements to interior space, not sure when the new design will start shipping though.
