Sweeeeeeet!
I'm about 50 ponies behind you so Beeeeeee Careful.
nice numbers and gobs of power, get ready to brake the tires loose at will. I am getting used to my car at the moment and its just wheel spin city even with the wide 315 rear tires.

I bought the same motor but went with Holley EFI Sniper system. Made maybe 10hp less than your's did, but I doubt I'll miss them at all!
Great numbers. I bet the cam isnt too radical either. Very driveable and more than enough power.

Consider getting a Rev-Limiter and set it low and work your way up.
I added one when I replaced my block and in my case the unit is easily adjustable.
https://www.jegs.com/i/MSD-Ignition/121/8727CT/10002/-1
The car starts spinning the wheels by rolling on the throttle at or around 2600-2800 RPM's, but hits the limiter at 4000.
This is how I'm learning to stay out of the ditches as I work through my Go-Karting testing phase.
Your Car Will Be A Total Beast!

Looks good!
As other have said, rev limiter. Also, please put tires on your car that are up to that level of performance. 200 treadwear is what I run with a 500hp 347.
Always be prepared for it to break loose as the RPMs climb. Mine comes on like a freight train at 4000rpm.
If it starts to break loose, roll out of the throttle and the car will grip. DO NOT completely lift. You can get a lesson in trailing throttle oversteer on a panic lift.
I recommend doing at least a couple autocross events to learn what you and the car can do.
Thanks Avalanche...As Carl said, the BP engines come with the rev limiter, so should be good to go there. I've got the Nitto NT555 G2's, which have a 300 treadwear. I'm assuming that should be sufficient.
I think I'll treat the car breaking loose like I do when driving in heavy rain. As you start to hydroplane, roll off the throttle and the tires will grip. Would love to do some autocross events when the time comes. I'll have to look into what's available around here. Maybe there are a couple that would like to join me!

I have NT555 G2's with 50 miles on them right now. The rubber is still very hard and I am not impressed with the grip. 275 front 315 rear. I wish i had gone with nt01's

I feel your pain, but in a bit smaller tire combo with 245/40-17's up front & 285'/40-17's out back.
I went through three (3) sets of the 555's on my former daily driver and they were great, so great that I put them on my MK-4.

The problem is that my former beloved C-4 had a 1/11 Horse Power to Weight Ratio and my Roadster is very likely at 1/5, maybe 1/6 at the very least.

Just saw this about the Nitto 555 G2's:
NOTE: This is a high-performance tire intended for use during summer months or warm temperatures only. Use during cold weather will greatly reduce performance, traction and handling, and greatly increase stopping distance. If using this tire in a drag or track environment during cold weather, we strongly recommend performing a pre-run burnout to nominalize the tread compound's temperature.
Guess I'm glad I live in Florida....
