Wanting to look at a type 65 in person

Looking to see if anyone has a type 65 in the area.

Would like to look at the car before a go find one or buy a kit.

Wouldn't mind driving one if you're ok with it.

I'm in the oklahoma panhandle, but could make a day trip to look at one!

Let me know if anyone is willing!

    Someone will chime in soon.

They are much better looking in person than pictures. I was amazed when I first saw one in person.

I've looked at pictures and I'm in love!

I just want to see how small they actually are, and if they really have that race car feel on the street.

I am 6'3 at 270 and fit the car well. The trick is seat selection and pedal setup.

Im in Springfield mo. probably a 6-8 hour drive from you. I would be happy to show you what I have. I have a "gt" coupe, essentially setup for long-distance touring. It would probably sit like a gen 3 with the lowered cockpit floors, also with undercar exhaust, etc. Im also building a stock gen 2. Not yet road legal. but you can compare the 2.
So if you are up for the drive just send me a pm. otherwise Ill keep you in mind if I make it out to your area in the near future.

    Yeah keep me in mind!

8 hours would be a long day, and I feel it would be silly for me to fly in to look at a car.

Im 6'2" and my goal weight is 250, so a smudge smaller than though. Im used to being too big for this world, so if I have to make some changes to fit in the car it's not s big deal.

    Which seats are you running?

I like using the lowback 17" Kirkey in the coupe, I find them very comfortable.
