A lot of us use Midwest. See banner above, they are an advertiser here. He is a Cobra specialist and very good to deal with.

If you are looking elsewhere, be sure you know what you are getting. Some people get a "declared value" or "stated value" policy and think it is the same as an "agreed upon value" policy. You want "agreed upon".
Where are you at in FL?
Reach out to Midwest... one of our vendors here on the forums...

National Corvette Museum will do it.
I contacted Midwest and got brushed off.
Brushed Off? Why? Robbin has always been very responsive and helpful for me. In fact, I believe the carrier that I'm insured with is actually in FL. Either way, I hope you can get it figured out. My insurance is like $450+/- per year for full coverage, Agreed Coverage and $250 deductibles. I think that is pretty fair. And, it was covered during the entire build. I carried a $5000 deductible on collision during the build and then dropped it to $250 once I started driving it a bit.

Been with Midwest for last 6 years and couldn't ask for any better to deal with, I would try to talk to them again, maybe a bad time or something.
I don't know why I got brushed off. I was surprised after reading all the good reviews here.
Went with NCM.
Probably cost about the same.
car is registered in fla. that being said I have to have it insured by a fla insurance co. does anyone know if Midwest has a fla. office there? thx gary.
Here is a quote from the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles website:
“Florida coverage is an insurance policy delivered or issued for delivery in Florida by an insurance company licensed by the Florida Department of Financial Services.”
I would think that the only requirement is that the insurance company is “licensed” to do business in Florida. So, as others have stated, I would first give Midwest a call. Stewart Transport spends a lot of time here in Florida dropping off kits and I would be surprised if Midwest didn’t do business here too.
Midwest is a broker. They will hook you up with a company licensed to do business in Florida, as would any broker / company. No one would, or even can, do anything else. My actual company is Infinity. Done through Midwest.
