Five hot rod power tour cars stolen

Glad that I have an enclosed trailer, but even with that, there are no guarantees.

All had GM style steering columns with key in it. Unfortunately very easy to steal. That is why I always install a remote hidden battery kill switch.

Sounds like a coordinated attack, likely planned well in advance of the event.

Yikes. Easy picking for someone wanting collector cars.

At least none of those cars sounds like big dollar and hour rare cars. Sure sucks though. I hope somebody's webcam got a shot of the jerks. I know people have been getting caught that way recently and that will only increase over time as more of our live is documented. Feel terrible for the victims. You put a lot of work into your baby to get it ready for the road show where you can show it off to people who will actually be interested in what you are saying. And them some stupid ***** just kicks you in the nuts and runs off with your hardwork and saving. .

Just saw an update, and now there are 6 cars reported stolen. One of the cars had its steering wheel in the hotel room when it was stolen, and it is believed that there were two flat bed tow trucks involved.

Too bad that the cars have probably been stripped, and the bodies sent through a crusher by now.
