Chrome vs powder coat
The kit and everything else ordered, Should start arriving in the next couple of weeks. Fist item in the manual is about several suspension parts to be painted, chromed or powder coated.Whats the cost difference between powder and chrome for these parts. I'm thinking powder coat but will do chrome if not prohibitively expensive
I have ordered chrome headers (347 engine)
My kit is Gen II, full dress and powder coated wire wheels - the up grade to chrome for the wheels was about $50/corner

FYI, you can do a DIY "chrome look" with powder coat. Both Eastwood and Prismatic Powders have a chrome. The Prismatic (which I used) is said to be more realistic and more reflective. You need to put a clear over it to protect it.... I'm pleased with it. Close up you can definitely tell it's not chrome but that's ok.

Did you remove your ball joints to powder coat?

Been a few months, I think we just taped; make sure you clean the threads after coating / painting , I had a serious bind between CA and stainless adj coupling
