Trick Flow top end (TFS- K514-360-SPC) with Boss 302 block (M-6010-BOSS302)

Has anyone installed Trick Flow top end kit (TFS- K514-360-SPC) on a Boss 302 block (M-6010-BOSS302) ? Both are listed in the Challenge series rules. Boss 302 block requires 1/2 in. head bolts but the Trick Flow head from the kit uses a 7/16 in. bolt.

    Dave,

We did it for those same TFS heads on the 25 hour car using a 363 short-block from Ford. We just drilled out the heads for the 1/2 inch bolts. If you look at the description for heads on Trickflows site it has a little note at the bottom that says must be drilled out if using 1/2 inch head bolts, so that is not something they haven't accounted for material thickness wise. We used a drill press and went in small bit increments but if you aren't comfortable doing that it's something any local machine shop would do.
